My brother and I have two separate computers, and the same DSL modem: Westell. For some strange reason, the internet light on his DSL modem stays on always and my blanks on and off excessively. Does anyone know why this is happening? (The internet light is off even as I am typing this question.) Also, the internet light keeps turning red, too.When the lights are blinking, it means it's transfering data (I have a westell). When it turns red it means they's a connection problem, but red has only shown up when I turn it on, not in the middle of when it's on.If red keeps popping up, turn it off and unplug everything for 5 min, then reconnect it and turn it back on. This solved my red lights before.
